This Vendor Refund Policy outlines the cancellation and refund terms relating to vendor stall bookings for Marcaida’s Forge & Food Festival. The information provided is for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. By submitting an application and payment, vendors acknowledge they have read and agree to the terms described below.
Refund Policy - The Basics
Booking a vendor space requires advance planning, site preparation, administration, and marketing by the event organisers. A vendor space is considered confirmed once a vendor has been accepted and payment has been received.
Vendor fees are refundable only when written cancellation notice is received at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event start date.
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the event organisers.
Cancellation Requests
Vendors who cancel their participation at least fourteen (14) days before the event start date may be eligible for a refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and refunds are not guaranteed. Any decision to issue a refund under these circumstances is at the sole discretion of the event organisers.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for any of the following:

Vendor no-shows or failure to attend

Weather conditions, including poor weather affecting attendance or sales

Event delays, interruptions, or cancellations beyond the organiser’s control
The organisers are not responsible for vendor travel, accommodation, staffing, preparation costs, or lost revenue.
Event Circumstances
Marcaida’s Forge & Food Festival is an outdoor event and will proceed in most weather conditions. Vendors accept that attendance levels, sales performance, and operating conditions may vary and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
If the event is affected by circumstances beyond the organisers’ control, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate updates to all vendors as soon as possible.
Agreement
By submitting payment for a vendor space, the vendor confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this Vendor Refund Policy.
